Meet Meg Springgay

Founder + Lead Designer behind The Hive.

Meg cut her teeth in the fashion industry working for over 15 years as a fashion show producer for Burberry, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Givenchy. She is originally from New York City but moved across the pond 12 years ago and has never looked back… apart from a brief 2-year stint in Paris where she produced shows for the top fashion houses in the city of love.

Using her eye for fashion, design & detail + her project management skills from being a global fashion show producer - she decided to turn her focus to her love of interior design.  She is now working from her home studio in West Berkshire, where she lives with her husband and 6 year-old son…and is fully embracing her new ‘English countryside’ lifestyle.

Meg’s approach to interior design is unique: ‘My goal is to create environments that evoke a feeling every time a client enters the room. The way to achieve this is by focusing on what I like to call, your ‘design emotions’. I have taken learnings from the fashion world in this respect. The way someone’s home is decorated or ‘dressed up’ can easily dictate the mood of the house and for the people that live within it… and it’s my job to help define this for you.’

Welcome to designing The Hive way.
